Back in the ol' days, when CBGB still existed and it was possible to go dancing every night in New York, I started a band with a bunch of friends. Like most bands, writing songs and playing them constituted about fifty percent of our time.  The other fifty percent I'll leave to your imagination.  Or not…you can read about it in KLONOPIN LUNCH.  In a fit of nostalgia, I recently reformed THROWS LIKE A GIRL with some new great guys, and recorded a few songs from back in the day as well as a few new ones and a Bowie cover. (I mean really, who wouldn't want to do that?)  The music (thanks to guitarist/producer Jeff McErlain) is great.  The lyrics (mine) are fun and twisted.  The singing….well, I like to think that my untrained and raw style (a generous term?) fits the vibe of what I have to say.
